Mercedes G 63 AMG Crazy Color.

German luxury giant Mercedes Benz is in a hurry to deliver on its promise of launching 15 new cars in the year 2015. At last count they have already launched 10 cars this year, three of which were all recently unveiled on a single day. All belong to the premium segment and can only grace the garages of the super rich. AMG, the performance division of Mercedes has been the focus area for the brand this year in India and two of these three cars also belong to the AMG Bandwagon. This means that if you're looking at luxury along with hardcore performance, you will be interested in reading further and discovering more about these new 3-pointed stars.

S 500 Coupe

First on the list is the charismatic two-door S Class that has been making waves in India as a sedan during the last one year. Standout design elements on the S class coupe include LED headlamps that feature 94 Swarovski crystals. Of course the sloping roofline design makes this coupe very appealing to look at. The interiors are an epitome of luxury no less. The two-part large wide screen TFT display is a part of an elevated central console that extends to the rear of the car. Just like the S Class the two rear seats have individual characteristics and give the occupants a lot of comfort. And in case you're worried about the headroom because of the absence of rear doors, stay assured that there will be no discomfort though it just cannot be the same as the sedan. The wheelbase of 2945 mm ensures ample interior space on the car.

The S 500 Coupe runs on a 4663 cc eight cylinder petrol engine. The motor churns out an impressive 455 bhp and a peak torque of 700 Nm. The famed Magic sky control feature that changes the colour of the sunroof according to individual preferences makes its debut in India with this car. Some safety features on the car include Brake assist, adaptive high beam assist plus and Night view assist plus.

AMG S 63 Coupe

A Coupe along with AMG sounds like an irresistible combination. This car realises the dream. It beautiful, it's powerful and it's soulful. The AMG twin-blade radiator grille gives it away that this is a beast waiting to be tamed. There are of course the twin chrome tailpipes as well as a finely designed spoiler that gives a new meaning to aerodynamics. There's a lot of AMG inside as well as is the case with other AMG branded cars. These include sport seats with AMG badges and the AMG instrument cluster.

The car is extremely lightweight and that ensures some mind boggling figures. This AMG accelerates from 0 to 100 kms/hr in just 4.2 seconds and reaches an electronicically controlled top speed of 250 kms/hr. There's a 7-speed auto transmission that combines well with a V8 bi-turbo engine. There are 3 driving modes to choose from — C that stands for controlled efficiency, S for Sport and M for Manual. A feature exclusive to this car is the Curve tilting function that makes the coupe turn into bends in a manner similar to a motorcyclist or a skier. The Magic body control just like the Coupe is present here too.Image 2nd
